Use an unmodified Futari Black Label U4 dump from the MAME set.

Pick any stage, mid-boss or boss straight from the title.
Modify shot power, bombs, lives, counters, rank, etc before beginning a practice stage.
Enable BOSS TIMER to display the remaining time of a boss's phase, or the time until the mid-boss leaves. (extra blitters during frame draw, may impact slowdown accuracy)
Hold D to show the current rank value. (extra blitters during frame draw, may impact slowdown accuracy)
Pause at any point during gameplay by pressing start
Select 'RETRY' from the results or pause menu to instantly restart the selected stage.
Select 'EDIT AND RETRY' from the results or pause menu to change the selected stage, mode and ship without having to restart a credit
Press A+B+C+START at any time to return to the title screen.
Fast boot to launch into the warning screen, and press start to skip its fade-in.
Forced free play.
Arcade mode - Play through the original game. Pausing and modifying player stats is unavailable in this mode.
Developed and tested for use with real PCB hardware.
