Training Rom

Features

  • Pick any stage, mid-boss or boss straight from the title.
  • Modify shot power, bombs, lives, counters, rank, etc before beginning a practice stage.
  • Enable BOSS TIMER to display the remaining time of a boss’s phase, or the time until the mid-boss leaves. (extra blitters during frame draw, may impact slowdown accuracy)
  • Hold D to show the current rank value. (extra blitters during frame draw, may impact slowdown accuracy)
  • Pause at any point during gameplay by pressing start
  • Select ‘RETRY’ from the results or pause menu to instantly restart the selected stage.
  • Select ‘EDIT AND RETRY’ from the results or pause menu to change the selected stage, mode and ship without having to restart a credit
  • Press A+B+C+START at any time to return to the title screen.
  • Fast boot to launch into the warning screen, and press start to skip its fade-in.
  • Forced free play.
  • Arcade mode - Play through the original game. Pausing and modifying player stats is unavailable in this mode.
  • Developed and tested for use with real PCB hardware.
